As a celebrant in Spain I LOVE wedding vow renewal ceremonies. They are an opportunity to reaffirm the love and commitment you and your partner share. A wonderful way to look back over the years you’ve shared with each other, honouring and celebrating the good times and the challenges, and is a lovely way to give thanks to each other and to those nearest and dearest, as you make your vows and wishes for the years you’ve yet to share.
As your wedding vow renewal celebrant I’d be honored to create a unique ceremony that captures the beauty of your love story, celebrating the journey of life you have travelled so far.

Did you know you can renew your vows at any point in your marriage?
Maybe you didn’t have the flexibility to say everything you really wanted at your initial wedding or you have a significant anniversary coming up and you want to say all the things you’ve always wanted to say. Perhaps you’ve been through challenging times and you simply want to recognise the strength of your relationship with your loved one in a meaningful way.
Whatever the reason, it’s an opportunity to shine a light on your love for each other and really get to say what you want to your loved one. Let me create a beautiful bespoke script with stories on how you first met, to all the years you’ve been together including the high’s and the low’s. You can even include your original vows or maybe some new ones…I can even give you a helping hand with suggestions!! I can do traditional, spiritual, quirky & fun or simply low key….it’s your day your way.

What can we include in our Renewal of Vows Ceremony in Spain?
There are no rules other than your happiness so feel free to include any part of your original ceremony that you wish, including special music, and, if possible even invite members of the original wedding party to be involved.
Not sure what you’d like to incorporate in the vow renewal ceremony? Not to worry, I will provide you with a variety of readings and ideas to help inspire you, and you may ask those close to you to contribute also, by sharing their stories and memories, giving readings, or reciting poems they have written specially for the occasion.
If you wish to exchange gifts or eternity rings to mark the occasion, this can be incorporated into the ceremony. And if appropriate, your children or grandchildren can take a special part in the celebration, too. For that matter, we can even include your pets as they too are part of the family!

During our initial conversation we can spend a little time reflecting on your history, revisiting important events along the way, e.g. the birth of children, relocation of your home, and other key milestones and events that have taken place over the years.

I offer a complimentary no obligation introductory meeting by phone, video call or locally in person if you live close to Mojacar, so you can discover whether I’m the celebrant you would like to help you celebrate your special day. I hope I am!
Tell me about your perfect ceremony
Once you say yes I will send you my Terms & Conditions and as soon as the deposit is paid, your date is secured in my diary.
I will send over a couples questionnaire for you both to complete, followed by further follow up calls, draft scripts along the way so I can start getting creative on your script. I also send ideas for readings and poems that I think may resonate with you and other options that you may not have considered to further personalise your ceremony. And if you’re feeling creative, I can even send you some vow examples so you can start to create your own.
Say I do again!
I arrive 1 hour before the start of the ceremony to help steady any nerves and liaise with any readers, planners or suppliers you may have enlisted to help on your special day but I will of course have spoken to all suppliers well before your actual ceremony.
Vow Renewal Ceremony Pricing and What’s Included
Fee: €550 (includes IVA/Spanish Tax ) Cost includes travel within 1 hour of Mojacar, Almeria (added costs for travel/accommodation expenses depending on venue location) this will be discussed with you during our initial call/correspondence.
Added Extras: Any rituals you may like may accrue an added cost which will be added to your final invoice.
